Dive into your weekend—and more than 2,000 pounds of Louisiana crawfish—at the 23rd annual Headsucker's Ball, which features bayou crawdads boiled with andouille sausage, onions, corn and red potatoes, plus jambalaya, gumbo and red beans and rice. Zydeco band Hurricane Gumbo (2 p.m.) keeps the party going with live music. 12 p.m. Saturday. $20-$25.

Kick off your Saturday afternoon with craft beers galore at the inaugural Lager Jam Beer Fest, which features samples of 30 brews from more than a dozen producers including Clown Shoes Clementine Belgian Wit and Shock Top Summer Shandy paired with savory bites.
