EAT

Not your mama's brisket

25 Degrees, 736 N. Clark St. 312-943-9700

Can't decide between brisket and a burger? No need to choose this month, as the River North burger bar unveils a limited edition BBQ Brisket Burger ($12), which features slow-cooked brisket, a sirloin patty, Cardona cheese, crispy onions and pineapple barbecue sauce. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository. 11 a.m.-11 p.m.

DRINK

Lickety split

The Anthem, 1725 W. Division St. 773-697-4804

If you'd rather lick your drink than sip it, try one of the Wicker Park bar's new Grey Goose popsicles ($5) in either Cherry Noir (Cherry Noir vodka, fresh raspberries and lemon juice) or Orange (L'Orange vodka, fresh-squeezed orange juice and tropical punch). 4 p.m.-2 a.m.

Ole!

J Bar, 610 N. Rush St. 312-660-7200

Send your taste buds south of the border at the Vital Nights Cinco de Mayo benefit for Vital Bridges with Svedka Clementine vodka-based Fiesta Bot and Svedka pineapple and cilantro-based Vital Bot cocktails. Also try the Cantina 46 tacos including chicken-bacon, carne asada and slow-cooked lamb neck, and Mexican-flavored ice creams from David Burke's Primehouse, plus raffles and beats by DJ Xarxay. 6-9 p.m. $20-$25.

DO

All that glitters

Gorilla Tango Theatre, 1919 N. Milwaukee Ave. 773-598-4549

Glitter abounds at the $500 GTT Burlesque Thing, a bump-and-grind competition that kicks off Wednesday with performances by Darling Shear, Holly Wouldn't, Phaedra Black, Bella Canto, Cinnamon Twist and Cruel Valentine. Cheer on your favorites—the top audience vote-getters move on to the May 23 finals for a chance at the $500 grand prize. 9 p.m. $15.

Fight for your rights

Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave. 773-327-5252

How far would you go for love—or to demand withheld rights? Catch a preview performance of Shattered Globe Theatre drama "Her Naked Skin" to see how historical conflicts—in this case, a love story that unfolds in 1913 London between two women of different classes imprisoned for their suffragette activities—resonate with issues of today. 8 p.m. $18.
