Nolan Gould of "Modern Family" stars in Chiller's "Ghoul,"… (Chiller )

I didn't have time for full reviews of two premieres happening this weekend, but here are my quick thoughts: "Ghoul" on Chiller should have stayed buried, while Nickelodeon's "The Legend of Korra" soars.
OK, so Chiller claims its original film "Ghoul" (8 p.m. April 13; 0 stars) is done "in the tradition of Stephen King's 'Stand by Me.'"
Yeah, if "Stand By Me" really sucked.
Adapted from Brian Keene's book, "Ghoul" follows three boys who literally dig up a decades-old mystery that has come back to haunt their small town. Nolan Gould of"Modern Family" plays one of the boys, but don't expect any of the intelligence of that series here.
The tag line is "Some secrets should stay buried." So should this movie, even if it is Friday the 13th.
THE LEGEND OF KORRA
Anime fans--and fans of the TV series "Avatar: The Last Airbender"--you're in luck. Nickelodeon's new series "The Legend of Korra" (10 a.m. Saturday; 3 stars) picks up 70 years after the end of "Airbender" and stars Korra, the Avatar who follows Aang.
The story briefly shows Korra as a child, but really kicks off with 17-year-old Korra already the master of three elements: water, earth and fire.
When her Airbender training is postponed, Korra travels to Republic City, where Aang's son Tenzin lives, so he can teach her. And that's when the fun begins.
