Drive-in theaters are soooo 50 years ago.
Enter the Bike-In Movie Theater at the Hideout, which will be showing music documentaries for free outside the venue the second Sunday of every month.
The first rockumentary, "The T.A.M.I Show," a 1964 concert film that includes performances by Marvin Gaye and The Rolling Stones, will air May 13.
"We did it last year, and it was just such a great success," said Michael Slaboch, the Hideout's talent buyer. "I didn't think anyone was going to go and then 100-plus people came out."
The Logan Square International Film Series, which screens movies for free, will provide the screen for the Hideout shows. Slaboch said the Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia Ave., can comfortably seat 100 to 150 attendees.
