Head to the kick-off of InFusion Theatre Company's "The Improv Play," by Randall Colburn ("Verse Chorus Verse"), which incorporates improv, sketch and stand-up comedy into a scripted show about an aspiring comedic trio that attempts to find success on Chicago stages after a fourth member dumps them to work on "SNL." 7:30 p.m. $10.

The concept of immortality rears its humorous head at Funny Ha-Ha: Live Forever, which features witty presentations by The A.V. Club's Marcus Gilmer, Essay Fiesta co-founder Keith Ecker, comedians Cameron Esposito and Kelsie Huff, filmmaker Steve Delahoyde and host Claire Zulkey.
