Fashionistas watch her critique celebrity styles on E!'s "Fashion Police." And she just had her not-quite-so scandalous E! "True Hollywood Story" air on Sunday.

Now, Giuliana Rancic will be back for Season 5 of the Style network's "Giuliana & Bill," which premieres at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The couple sat down last week in their favorite corner booth at their recently opened River North restaurant RPM Italian to chat about what viewers can expect to see this season, including the revelation that Giuliana has breast cancer.

"The first episode is definitely more emotional because you're seeing how we found out about breast cancer. But then, as the season goes on we inject a lot of humor into everything because that's what we do with our own lives," said Giuliana.

It's a topic they initially thought they wanted to keep private but then chose to go public with.

"We thought, 'Gosh this is a real opportunity to help people and inspire, especially young women, to get checked and know at 36 if this happened to me with no family history, it can happen to anyone. I used to think I was bulletproof, but I'm not," she said.

Giuliana will be back at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago on April 15 for Fab Fest, an event with spa treatments and beauty tips aimed at raising money for breast and ovarian cancer awareness organization Bright Pink.

Style network cameras also captured the developments at RPM: the concept, construction and creation of the menu.

"We've been doing fun stuff, like I put on a fashion show to try to show them and all the partners what I wanted the uniforms to be for the servers and hostesses. They thought it was ridiculous. I loved it," she said.

Right now, the couple splits their time between Chicago and L.A. but would like to settle down in the Windy City in probably three years. Still, they're house hunting for the perfect pad, and their search will air toward the end of the season, Bill said.

"We want to be somewhere close to here. We like this area," he said of River North. "We like being close to the lake. We like to run. So we can go running on the lakefront."

Aside from the show, RedEye asked about the fashion trend she is obsessed with at the moment (masculine chic looks) and how she deals with her hilarious yet insulting co-host, Joan Rivers.

"I cringe. I laugh. I cry. She's the funniest person," Giuliana said. "We have no idea what she's going to say. We don't know her jokes ahead of time. We're there kind of hearing them for the first time with the people at home. It's been amazing being on that show."
