Why wait till Sunday for brunch? The River North restaurant now offers its signature brunch on weekdays with options including steak and eggs (braised short rib, potato cake, bearnaise, $14) and banana custard French toast with peanut streusel and creme Anglaise ($12). 6:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Pub grub

Snack to your heart's content on locally sourced appetizers including hot wings and roasted vegetable flatbreads—plus Goose Island beers and Robert Mondavi wines—at the Under One Roof pub party benefit for the Deborah's Place women's shelter. It also features dozens of silent auction prizes, including Cubs-Cardinals tickets. 5:30-9 p.m. $50-$60.

Ann Arbor, Mich., troupe The Tickled Fancy Burlesque Co. brings a whole lotta tease and just a little bit of sleaze to Chicago with a revue that ranges from vintage, garter-snapping bump and grind to a nerdy girl Babes of Gotham City act, plus an appearance by popular local performer Cruel Valentine. 7 p.m. $5.
