Attention, sexy coeds!
Playboy is casting students in its college pictorial issue, one of the magazine's most popular editions for the last 36 years.
So, ladies, it's time to show off your Big Ten pride. What else did you think we'd say?
This year, the October 2012 issue will focus on "Girls of the Big Ten" and be on newsstands and online Sept. 21. Each year, the issue highlights a major college conference. Last year's edition centered on the Southeastern Conference. The Big Ten was last featured in 2008.
The search is on to find the girl next door, not professional models, Playboy magazine publicity manager Abi O'Donnell said in an email. Playboy reps and photographers will be at Northwestern University from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 15. They'll hit all 12 schools in the conference.
About 20 to 30 women are expected to show up at each campus casting call. At least one gorgeous girl from each Big Ten school will be featured. Some playmates even got their start appearing in the issue.
"Our readers can relate to each and every girl in the pictorial because they are regular college students--the girl in your math or lit class, the girl who lives down the hall from you, the girl you see out on a Friday night," O'Donnell said.
Girls have to be at least 18 years old and registered as part- or full-time students at a Big Ten university. They can sign up online and must bring two forms of identification to the casting call to verify enrollment and age. For more information, visit www.playboy.com/BigTen2012.
If they can't make the audition, ladies can send their info and photos to BigTen2012@playboy.com.
