Folksy Chicago quintet Rego answered our Chi-Tunes questionnaire. Do the same and your band could appear in RedEye!
What makes your live show great?
We have tons of energy and use some unique instruments like vibraphones and a mandolin.
Describe your sound in five words or less.
introspective, operatic, shy, trippy
Tell us something random about the band, and why that's significant.
We're the most forgetful band in America. We forget something every time we play. I think it's signifigant because it keeps us close and looking out for each other all the time.
Who would you want to work with, and who would you never work with? Why?
Brian Deck. He's a genius and an amazing Chicago artist! Never work with? Well, I guess there are a few people out there like Ted Nuggent, but everyone else is fine, I guess.
If the band was a breakfast cereal, what would it be and why?
My favorite, Lucky Charms. We're sometimes sweet, and sometimes hearty like those wheat things that are in there, but overall a we're a treat.
What's the best album you've heard recently?
"Metals" by Feist
What song do you never want to hear again?
Anything by Kobe Kaley
What is Chicago's best music venue and why?
Lincoln Hall. It has sweet sound and an amazing stage and staff.
