Chicago rockers Audiences answered our Chi-Tunes questionnaire. Do the same and your band could appear in RedEye!
What makes your live show great?
All the smiling. First it takes over the stage, and then it takes over the crowd.
Describe your sound in five words or less.
Seraton-ic therapy for the romanticized.
Tell us something random about the band, and why that's significant.
We all learned how to play together, and then we all went away. Now we're all playing together again.
Who would you want to work with, and who would you never work with? Why?
Would: Tom Waits. I feel like we might learn a new word and how to articulate something we didn't know could be expressed.
Wouldn't: The Back Street Boys. Unless we could convince them to form a super group with Nickelback called Nickelback Street Boys.
If the band was a breakfast cereal, what would it be and why?
Certainly we would be Rice Krispies because while we can Snap and Crackle all day we've got a thing or two to learn about Pop.
What's the best album you've heard recently?
The album "James Blake" by Mr. James Blake.
What song do you never want to hear again?
I'd be okay without ever hearing Hilary Duff's "Come Clean".
What is Chicago's best music venue and why?
Lincoln Hall sounds beautiful, and I think we have Wilco to thank for that (on account of their hefty soundboard and equipment donation).
