We could definitely use a good laugh to start off the year -- thankfully, Will Ferrell has a new movie coming out soon. The trailer for "Casa de mi Padre," in which he stars as Armando Alvarez, a man who may or may not actually know what he's saying in Spanish, popped up this week. Here's where we think the writers got the inspiration for this wacky Will creation.

45 percent -- "Three Amigos!" Chevy Chase, Steve Martin and Martin Short didn't break this ground for nothing -- but who gets to be this flick's El Guapo?
5 percent -- "Dancing with the Stars." Or at least that's what we gather from the movie's poster, which features Will and his leading lady doing quite the leg lift.
1 percent -- "Everything Must Go." Will's last movie was seeeerious ... and seeeeriously depressing. Let's hope we see as little of it as possible in this movie.
20 percent -- George W. Bush from "SNL." Although at least this Will character knows that Americans don't speak "American."
10 percent -- Univision telenovelas. If you didn't watch "Sonadoras" in your high school Spanish class, you majorly missed out.
19 percent -- Ricky Bobby. The "Talladega Nights" hero and Armando share a steely glint in their eye and a true passion for their craft -- and the love of a fine woman.
