Chicago fast food fiends looking to order a beer with their Crave Case will have to wait a bit longer.
National hamburger chain White Castle has no plans at this point to sell beer or wine in Chicago area locations, according to White Castle spokesman Jamie Richardson.
The chain, known for its square-shaped sliders, recently introduced beer and wine sales at a White Castle location in Lafayette, Ind. The restaurant also serves as a test for a new concept called Blaze Modern BBQ, according to The Associated Press.
White Castle isn't the only chain experimenting with alcohol sales: Earlier this year it was announced that national coffee retailer Starbucks would introduce beer and wine sales in some Chicago store locations in 2012.
