Tis the season… - 24

"With winter upon us it would be nice to meet someone new, to endure the coldness with. Let's drink coffee/white hot chocolate. Hybernate inside while cuddling and watching movies or playing video games. And of course sledding and snowball fights!!"

I'm so confused about what you are looking for. Are you looking for a girlfriend or a friend that wants to play COD ["Call of Duty"] with you? You're posting on CL [Craigslist], in the w4w, but you've basically described an awesome friendship. Friendship is the basis for all great relationship, but your ad doesn't make me think you're looking for love.

Cuddle Buddy for Winter – 30 (Chicago)

Hello, Looking to meet a nice guy. Nothing complicated, no expectations, just fun and see what happens. Some how all of this got complicated and I've read people stating they have all their teeth...whoa.

"Somehow this all got complicated…"

Wait, you're 30 and just realized this? You woke up Saturday morning freezing your ass off and thought to yourself "Damn! Dating is complicated. … instead of putting effort into finding a great guy who can love me the way I need to be loved, I'll just post a fwb [friends with benefits] ad on the Internet skip dating and getting to know you part and get right to the good stuff."

Take some time every week and mingle at a singles party, local bar, and networking event or group outing and introduce yourself to some real guys who'd be more than happy to keep you warm.

So cold! Perfect night for Scrabble and cocoa – 29 (Lakeview)

[It's] such a cold and windy night in the city! Looks like our great Chicago winter is on its way. These are great nights for Scrabble and hot cocoa, old movies and popcorn. At least that's how I like to spend my cold nights in the house. Any favorite things that you like to do when the weather gets chilly? Let's chat about it and maybe can pass the time on a cold night together.

Expert comment:

Honestly, SL [Scrabble lover], you might love old movies, Scrabble and hot chocolate, but women can find that sort of comfort with their sister, best friend or their own grandmother. What is enticing them to contact a stranger off of CL [Craigslist] to come to your home to "cuddle" with you?

You sound like a sweet guy, and I bet you could make an awesome boyfriend, but to get a girl interested in you I'd get off the Internet and get outta the house.
