Don't get left out alone in the cold. Instead, warm up to some winter dating tips from Whitney Casey, a relationship expert for match.com.
SETTING THE DATE
Don't do too many coffee dates in the winter. Saturday afternoons are for meeting up with girlfriends or playing indoor basketball with the guys.
Do set up dates that revolve around cocktail hour. It's just sexier.
PREPARING FOR THE DATE
Don't wear earmuffs, guys. Don't wear ski jackets, ladies. They're just not cute. Same goes for running shoes and jeans.
Do wear opaque tights, girls. Guys, put on some dress pants and a sport coat now and then. That way you won't spend an entire winter in jeans and a flannel.
GOING ON THE DATE
Don't miss an opportunity to check yourself in the mirror before meeting your date. Cold weather makes our eyes and noses run.
Do give yourself an extra five minutes to make sure your mascara isn't running and that your nose isn't running either.
