'Sanctuary' preview: Old frenemies return in 'Chimera'

November 29, 2011|By Curt Wagner | RedEye

An old frenemy returns to the "Sanctuary" in "Chimera," and I'm not talking about Nikola Tesla.

Yes, everyone's favorite snarky vampire (played by Jonathon Young) is back in the episode, which airs on a special night--at 9 p.m. Nov. 29 on Syfy. He and Helen Magnus (Amanda Tapping) undertake a dangerous mission when the Sanctuary computers are attacked.

Henry (Ryan Robbins) discovers the problem, but the only way to remedy it is to hook up to the computer. Magnus and Tesla volunteer, and are transported to a virtual Sanctuary, where they encounter the friend/foe whom shall remain nameless.

"Chimera" was written by James Thorpe and directed by Martin Wood. Don't forget, it airs tonight on Syfy. It will repeat in its regular slot at 9 p.m. Friday.
