Cho-down: It's Margaret vs. John in the battle for who said what

November 10, 2011|By Dana Moran | RedEye

Apparently November is the month of getting naughty. Two of our favorite Chos, John and Margaret, have stepped back into the spotlight with "A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas," which opened Nov. 4, and "Cho Dependent," which screens Saturday at the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, respectively. This wacky duo make for some pretty crazy interviews -- so crazy, in fact, that we're not sure you'll be able to tell the difference. See if you can match the quotes below to the Cho who said them. | @damoran

1: "And then I got a degree studying James Franco."

2: "I have long had an obsession with the idea of getting an intervention. ... It just seems like the worst thing that can happen to you."

3: "I always wanted to [play Kim Jong Il] because I knew it was possible. I just never had the chance."

4: "It's like when you're in college and you go out to the post office but end up drunk in Canada."

5: "It was a lot of fun to witness from my gold trailer."

6: "Sometimes I get really shy about my own crude sense of humor when I am not actually performing."

Answer key:

1: John, to the AV Club, on what he did between "Harold and Kumar" movies

2: Margaret, to, on her song with Tegan and Sara

3: Margaret, to the Tacoma News Tribune, on her "30 Rock" appearance

4: John, to the San Diego News Tribune, on how ridiculous Harold and Kumar are

5: John, to the AV Club, on filming in Detroit

6: Margaret, to, on recording a song called "Gimmie Your Seed"
