OK, who had 72 days in their office pool? Kim Kardashian filed for divorce Monday from NBA player Kris Humphries -- who, with the whole lockout thing still going on plus allegations he was scammed by an investment partner, is having the worst week EVER. While we at RedEye still are in the process of clutching our bosoms and wiping away our tears, we thought we'd take a look back at the sweet, sweet memories of these ill-fated lovers.

Kim splits from model Gabriel Aubry to focus exclusively on dating Kris, whom she met while filming "Kourtney and Kim Take New York." Apparently New York isn't all Kim took.
Early signs of a speedy courtship? Kim meets Kris' parents in Minneapolis, where we assume they were terrified by her large hair.
"I never think love is hard. I think if it's meant to be, it's meant to be." -- Kim
Someone's biological clock is going off big time. Kim tweeted a pic of Kris as a little boy, adding "I want my son to look like this!"
Surprise No. 1! Kim throws a secret bash for her beau's 26th birthday in New York. His parents also are invited -- someone's trying to get in good early with the future in-laws.
Early signs that this man is insane? Kim says Kris loves her song "Jam (Turn It Up)," and sings it to her on the phone. Or maybe he was just trying to get her to break up with him.
"I don't think Kris knows what he's getting into. ... The initiation process will happen this summer -- if he lasts. If he can get out of that alive, then he's good to stay." -- Khloe Kardashian
"I am very happy where I'm at. ... But as of right now, no marriage, nothing like that. We're happy."
Kim told E! News in April, adding that a New York residence closer to her boyfriend's home base was an obvious next step.

Hot date: May 18. That's when Kris popped the question to Kim, writing "Will you marry me?" in rose petals on her bedroom floor.
The digit: 20.5. That's the number of carats of Kim's engagement diamond, which clocked in at a whopping $2 million.

That's when Kris introduced Kim to his dogs, Brody and Gizmo. Again: He proposed marriage to her before she met his dogs.

That's the value of an ashtray on Kris and Kim's wedding registry. The couple was registered at luxury store Gearys and Williams-Sonoma.
Hot date: July 23. That's when Kris and Kim held their Vegas bachelor and bachelorette parties. But apparently someone forgot to tell Kim that bachelor parties are for dudes, because she popped up at Kris' soiree. Honey, it's called trust.
"Property of Kim Kardashian FOR LIFE." -- The message on Kris' bachelor-party cake. Yes, that still applies, ladies, so step off.
Hot date: Aug. 20. Kim and Kris were married in Montecito, Calif. People magazine had exclusive photo rights to the event, and oh hey, ended up putting only the bride on the cover with the headline "Kim's Wedding Album." Ouch.
"I'm going to remember how perfect it was." -- Kris
"It was like we were in heaven." -- Kim
"I kissed him goodnight and I was like, `Happy one-month anniversary.' He was like, `How did you remember?'" -- Kim, on Kris forgetting that they had been married a month. This bodes well.
Hot dates: Oct. 9 and 10 -- That's when Kris and Kim's two-part wedding special, "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event," aired on E! Actually, given that title, we probably should say Kim's two-part wedding special.
Digit: 72 -- Number of days Kim and Kris were married before she filed for divorce.
Kim just might be getting over this divorce as quickly as she got into the marriage. She's headed for Australia to promote the Kardashian handbag line, and tweeted about Tuesday's opening of the family's new boutique, Kardashian Khaos: "We are so excited!! Kardashian Khaos has arrived!" Arrived it has, in so many ways.
